Vihiga KMTC Branch History
Vihiga KMTC Branch was established in the year 2013, under a partnership agreement between the board of directors of KMTC and the county service board of Vihiga county.
The pioneer students were admitted in September 2013, when Vihiga KMTC Branch was officially opened, to pursue a diploma course in community health nursing.
Since establishment, Vihiga KMTC Branch boasts of a gradual growth in enrolment and infrastructure.

Vihiga KMTC Branch is located within Mbale Rural hospital in Mbale town of the County government of Vihiga, along the busy Kakamega -Kisumu highway.

Vihiga KMTC Branch currently offers only one course, a Diploma course in Community Health Nursing.
