Kenya Union Of Temporary Trainers (KUTT)
Contracted teachers working in Kenyan colleges have sought to have their union registered.
The application was made on 13th February 2023 by the Secretary General, Francis Mwenda.
Among the objectives of the union is to negotiate with the respective boards and the Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutions (KATTI) for better working terms of their members who are over 10,000 in number.
It is a wait and see situation if the registrar will consider this union noting that registration of other outfits within the education sector such as NEU, KNUCT & KUTVET has been declined in the recent past.
