The former Teacher performance Appraisal and development tool (TPAD) did not capture most crucial areas as expected by the Teacher’s Service Commission (TSC). TSC therefore abolished it and replaced it with a new TPAD called TPAD2. All teachers therefore, both newly employed and existing, are required to quit their old TPAD accounts and register with the new TPAD2 accounts.

Before going to step 1, ensure that you have the following: an operational E-mail address, an operational mobile phone number, your national identity card, your TSC number and an easy password in mind.
Step 1
Open the chrome browser in your mobile phone. Of course, you can use any other browser but for mobile phones, those other browsers hang’ or fail to load the correct window. If you lack it in your phone, install it from your play store or request a friend to send it via bluetooth, xender or flash share and install it.
Step 2
Type the link https://tpad2.tsc.go.ke/auth/create_account and search. If you want to do it right now right here, simply click on the link in this guide. You can also go to the TSC website and get the link.
Step 3
A window appears that requires you to feed in your TSC number, ID number, mobile phone number, E-mail address and password. Kindly choose a password that you can easily remember. Under mode of notification, choose SMS on the drop-down menu.Once you have completed filling the details, click create account.
Step 4
You will receive an SMS with a secret code. Enter the secret code in the required space. This is just to verify that the mobile phone number you have provided is yours and in operation.
Your tpad2 account is ready and you can now operate in it once you have logged in using TSC number, ID number and password.
