How To Register With AON MINET Using Your Mobile Phone

AON MINET is a Health insurance company, contracted by the Teachers Service Commission of Kenya (TSC) to offer health cover services to all TSC employed Kenyan teachers. Some of the services that Teachers enjoy under AON MINET medical cover include; Outpatient services, inpatient services, dental services, optical services, maternity services, group cover and last expense covers.

Self registration for AON MINET services takes less than a minute, via a mobile phone (not necessarily a smart phone).

Before commencing your registration, you must confirm that you have the following;

• An active mobile phone number
• Your national identity card
• Your TSC number

Self Registration Procedure

To register with AON MINET and start enjoying their services, follow promptly, the procedure below within the comfort of your house.

• Press *865# on your mobile phone, followed by the call button. Thereafter press send. A message pops up on your phone’s screen reading;

2. Exit

• Choose option 1 then press the send button.
• A window appears on the screen, demanding your TSC Number. Enter your TSC number correctly and then press the send button.
• The next window will want you to choose your designation. Available options are; Principal, Deputy Principal or Teacher. Press the send button once done with your choice.
• On the next window, you will choose your gender, whether you are male or female.
• Confirm that all details you have entered are legit. If the details are all correct, select ‘yes’. If some are not correctly captured, select no and edit them first.

Adding NHIF Number To Your AON MINET account

Being that teachers belong to two medical schemes, it is just imperative that the two schemes should be synchronized so as to increase a teacher’s coverage value in cases of emergency.

You can follow the procedure below to synchronize your NHIF account with your AON MINET account.

• Press *865# on your mobile phone, followed by the call button. Thereafter press send. A message pops up on your phone’s screen reading;

4. Add NHIF no

• Select option 4 then press the send button.
• A window appears, prompting you to confirm your NHIF Number. After confirming your NHIF number, select the ‘yes’ option. Click send afterwards.
