Kabarnet KMTC Branch Background information

Kabarnet KMTC Branch was set up on the twenty second day of May 1991 as Kabarnet centre for medical training under the Kenya school of government, baring branch, formerly called the district of Baringo development institute. The construction of Kabarnet KMTC Branch was flagged off by Yusuf Haji, the former provincial commissioner for rift valley province.

This good proposal to the area residents of Kabarnet was a brainchild of the Kenyan ministry of health, under the presidency of Daniel Arap Moi.
