Kangundo KMTC Branch Background Information
Kenya medical training college, KMTC Kangundo campus was opened in September 2017. Its establishment was an initiative of Machakos county government, in collaboration with the director of KMTC.
The funds for the construction of the Kangundo KMTC Branch were provided by the board of directors, KMTC and the county government of Machakos.

Kaptumo KMTC Branch students use Kangundo level 4 hospital as the major clinical experience site for their practical skills. This hospital has most medical equipment, maternity facilities, surgical facilities and child care facilities that are of great assistance to Kangundo KMTC branch students.
However Kangundo KMTC branch students obtain their rural clinical experience from the health centres within Machakos county.
