List Of Approved Private Junior Secondary Schools For Grade 7 Per County

With the ongoing selection of junior secondary schools to enhance transition from grade six to grade seven, parents and grade six learners are suffering untold dilemmas on the schools to choose in each category and whether they should be boarding or day schools.

Already, the cabinet secretary for education, professor George Magoha has consistently urged parents to take their junior secondary children to day schools as a preference as opposed to the boarding schools.

Judging from the age of the grade six students, exposing them to boarding life away from their parents will also do no good to them. It is therefore advisable that if a parent can, a day school or a boarding school closer to the child’s home  will be better.

Day schools are not just sub county county schools. There are several National and regional schools that have day school wings, hence can host days scholars. Further, they are day schools that fall under the county or regional category. Parents could therefore choose any two schools from any of the mentioned categories as summarized below.
