Lodwar Boys High School is a boys only public national boarding secondary school located in Lodwar Town in Turkana County, Kenya. The school was started in 1964 by the Central government to help the boys in the region to acquire quality education. Lodwar Boys High School is currently a four- streamed school that sends a good number of its students to local universities via direct entry. Since Lodwar Boys High School is from a marginalized area, those who do well in exams and happen to come from poor backgrounds are usually sponsored by foreigners who visit the county or by the local government.
