Machakos KMTC branch Background Information
Machakos KMTC branch was established in the year 1959. The initial purpose of this college was to offer Enrolled Nursing programmes to nurses who were working at under the General Hospital of Machakos.
In 1978, Machakos KMTC branch abolished the certificate in enrolled nursing programme for a certificate course in Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing.
In the year 2000, KECHN was replaced by a Diploma course in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing at the Machakos KMTC branch.
