Major TSC Transfers Affect More Principals and Schools

More several secondary school heads have been transferred to new stations by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

In a TSC document listing the transfers, Mwiciringiri secondary school principal, Luke Wekesa Simiyu will swap places with his counterpart, Ndungu Jacob Muhia of Bishop Crowley Lukesi Secondary school. Both schools are in Trans-Nzoia County.

Obogo Richard Juma who has been heading Mercy Njeri Secondary in Nakuru County will now move to St. Vincent Secondary School in Trans-Nzoia County. He will replace lhugo Margaret Njeri who will succeed him at his previous station.

The changes also affected Nakuru’s Tinet Girls whose principal has been Kitur Linah Chepkoech. Kitur has been deployed to head Kipkuror Secondary in Bomet County. Her place will be taken over by Rebecca Chumo who has been heading Tolmo Secondary in Baringo County.

Ruiru Secondary School principal, Maina Wanjau has been moved to Huho-ini Secondary school in Laikipia. He will be replaced at the Kiambu-based school by Ndung’u Teresiah Njeri whose previous station was not immediately clear.

Similarly, Kijabe Township Secondary principal, Bungei Gideon Kirwa now leaves his station to head AIC Sirikwa Secondary in Uasin Gishu County. Cheserek Joel Kiprop, who has been heading Lebolos Secondary in Baringo County has been identified as his immediate replacement.

TSC Launches Training of Primary School Heads on Junior Secondary

Njoro Township Principal,Kemei Jane Jelimo will now report at Mogotio Secondary School as new head. She will be swapping places with Mary Wanjiru Njuguna who will be heading in the opposite direction.

Gladys Mwirigi Mwendwa who has been at Mahiga Girls in Nyeri will now swap positions with Ganye Alexander who has been heading Charity Secondary School in Nyeri County as well. Another swap involved Koige Secondary School Principal,Kimutai Paul Biegon who has now been posted to Kimologit Secondary in Kericho with Nelson Too of Kaplelach Secondary in the same Kericho County going to replace him.

On the other hand, Kirui Augustine Siele who was at Chesirikwa Secondary will now move to Kerundut Secondary in Bomet County.Ruth Hellen Cherotich who was heading Kiptobon Secondary will replace him at his old station-Chesirikwa.

Ali Hassan Kirahi of Tendwet Secondary has been moved to Olalui Secondary in Narok County exchanging places with Kamau Michael Meja who now moves from Olalui to Tendwet also in the same County.

A similar swap was also conducted between Sachangwan Secondary Principal and his counterpart at Kiptuno Mixed Secondary.Ng’etich Alfred Kiprono will now shift camp from Sachangwan to go and head Kiptuno Mixed while Too Jeniffer Chepkirui will go to replace him at Sachangwan.

In the transfers,Mau Secondary School’s Bunyasi Henry Maina will report toChematich Secondary in Trans-Nzoia County.He will be replaced by Anguche Gedion Mumbia who was heading Chematich.

In a similar operation,Kamau Apollo Kiiru of Nakuru West Secondary School will swap places with Mirera High School Principal, Maina Melick Kamau. The two institutions are in Nakuru County.

In other transfers, Elburgon Secondary principal, Chege Daniel Kariuki will proceed to Ndururumo Secondary in Laikipia County to replace Muriuki Francis who will be heading to Elburgon Secondary in a swap arrangement. Siwot Girls Principal,Lucy Rugendo will now take over at Karugwa Girls in Meru County to replace Lucy Wanjiru Gitau who will be moving in the opposite direction to head Siwot.

On the same note,Gituamba’s Kimenju Robert Kiragu will now go to Rubiri as the new head. He will take over from Lucy Gathoni Kamau whose new station was not named. Both schools are in Nakuru County. The TSC has picked Kamau Eunice Njambi of Rutere Secondary to replace Kiragu at Gituamba Secondary while Ezekiel Gathura Kangarua will report to Rutere to succeed Njambi.

Naivasha Girls head, Wandetto Catherine Njoki have swapped places with Moi Girls-Kamangu counterpart Rose Wambui Njoroge. Kamangu is in Kiambu County while Naivasha is situated in Nakuru County.

Also moved is Grace Maina of St. Maria Veronica Secondary who will now report at St.Loise Nanyuki Girls. She will be replaced by Ontita Mary. Consequently, Macharia Rosemary Wanjiru of Moi Secondary has been transferred to Tulaga Secondary in Nyandarua County.Her replacement has been named as Njoroge Tabitha whose previous station was not immediately clear.

Chebotoi Secondary head, Bii Philip Kipkoech will now proceed to Moi Amalo Secondary and will be replaced by Francis Ogechi at his previous base.On the same vein, Enaipasha Girls Principal, Kudha

Jeniffer Achieng has been deployed to Gatero Girls in Nakuru County with her successor named as Mwaniki Thabitha wawira who has been serving at Kenyenya TTC.

Kong’asis Secondary school which did not have a substantive principal shall now be headed by Peter Mbera.The man was plucked from Siongiroi Secondary school in Bomet County.Similarly,Warire Francis Mugo who has been at Murao Secondary will move to Muriricua secondary, a new school in Nakuru County.

At the renown Menengai High, Principal, Richard Ngatia will proceed to Nyahururu High and will be replaced by Paul Njaria from Tulaga Secondary in Nyandarua County.On the other hand,Muriama Lucy who has been at Oletukat Secondary in Narok County shall now move to head Ngondi Secondary in Nakuru County.The name of her predecessor at Ngondi was not immediately available.

In another development, Rose Chepkirui Tangus who has been at Archbishop Njenga in Kakamega County will now become the new head at Kirobon Girls in Nakuru. The position has been vacant.Julia Birgen who has been the head at Chesogor Secondary in Uasin Gishu has been moved to Mwicingiri Secondary in Nakuru in a similar capacity.

Moi Forces,Lanet, Principal Jedidah Muthoni Mwangi has been transferred to head Alliance Girls, one of the top performing schools in the country. Her replacement is Njogu Mary Wamaitha of Gatero Girls in Laikipia County. Also affected by the transfers is Reuben Ochako of ELCK Kongoi who will go to head Gilgil Day in Nakuru while Henry Kipng’ak who was at Gilgil Day will move in the opposite direction to go and take charge at ELCK Kongoi.
