Nyahururu KMTC Branch History
Nyahururu KMTC Branch was opened in the month of May in the year 2016.this was through a collaborative initiative, involving three bodies; the board of Laikipia Referral Hospital, Board of Directors of KMTC and the county service board of Laikipia County Government.
The main objective of establishing Nyahururu KMTC Branch was to solve the problem of inadequate health staff in the entire county of Laikipia.
The pioneer course, a diploma course in Health Education and Promotion, began immediately Nyahururu KMTC Branch was opened, admitting less than 20 students.
Massive construction of additional structures began in the following year, making Nyahururu KMTC Branch to introduce more diploma courses in the year 2019. These are a diploma course in Nursing and a diploma course in Clinical Med and Surgery.
