Rigathi Gachagua Age and Place of Birth
Rigathi Gachagua was born in Ruguru village in 1965. He is turning 57 in a few months’ time.

Rigathi Gachagua attended Kabiruini Primary School 1971-1977. He later joined Kianyaga Boys High School 1978-1981 for his secondary school education. In 1983, he went back to Kianyaga High School for A levels. Rigathi Gachagua later joined the University of Nairobi in 1985 and graduated in 1988 with Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.

1988-1989 Assistant Secretary/Personal Assistant to the late Davidson Ngibuini minister of Home affairs and National Heritage.
1990-1992 Personal Assistant to Head of Civil Service Professor Ndithi.
1993-2001 Served as a DO District Officer in Kirinyaga, Kiambu, Kakamega, Wajir and Laikipia.
2001-2006 Served as a personal Assistance to HE President Uhuru Kenyatta.
2007-todate Joined private business todate as a CEO of Ridor group of Companies.
2012-2017 Started cooperate social responsibilities in Mathira Constituency.
21st Dec 2016 5000 members and local leaders asked Rigathi Gachagua for Mathira Parliamentary Seat. He is the current Mp for Mathira constituency.

Rigathi Gachagua is married to Pastor Dorcas Rigathi.
They have been blessed with 2 boys. Gachagua Rigathi and Ikinu Rigathi . All members of Presbyterian Church of East Africa.
