Education cabinet secretary prof George Magoha has today released the 2021 KCSE results.

During the release, CS George Magoha maintained that the government of Pres. Uhuru has been paying examination fees for children both in public and private schools since 2016, a total of Ksh. 27.7.

According to Magoha, 11 subjects recorded significant improvement this year.826,807 sat for KCSE in 2021, a 10% increase from last year’s 747,000.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday received the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) national examination results for the year 2021 from Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.

Uhuru received the results at State House, Nairobi, ahead of the official release on Saturday.

The President congratulated the Ministry of Education and the Kenya National Examinations Council team for delivering credible national exams.

He said that the results have shown tremendous progress of day and sub county schools.

The President pointed out that more resources should be channeled to the sub counties and day schools as they are a lesser burden to parents.

“More resources should be channeled to these schools. The day schools are lesser of a burden to the parents and they are performing,” President Kenyatta said.
